Mr. Maloof has lived in the Northern Virginia area since 1971. He was born and raised in Boston, MA, until the age of 18.

In September 1968, he joined the US Marine Corps. He did basic training at Parris Island, SC, and received additional training at Camp Lejeune, NC, and Camp Pendleton, CA, before flying to Okinawa and DaNang, Vietnam, in April 1969. Mr. Maloof was stationed with the 5th Marines in Vietnam and returned under President Nixon’s Phase 2 redeployment in April 1970. He received an honorable discharge on September 10, 1970.

After his discharge, he went back to school and was accepted at Georgetown University in September 1971. He graduated from the Business School with an accounting degree in 1975. He went on to Georgetown University Law School and graduated in 1978. During his years at Georgetown, he had the privilege of meeting and being the assistant to Thomas G. (“Tommy the Cork”) Corcoran of the Roosevelt White House. The “Cork” was a great inspiration to Mr. Maloof’s career as a lawyer.

Mr. Maloof is AV rated by Martindale Hubbell and has a very active litigation and corporate practice.

Mr. Maloof has two children. Mr. Maloof also is athletic and a very avid tennis player.
