Roy D. Snyder, Jr. graduated from the United States Naval Academy in 1950. Following a 30 year career in the U.S. Navy involving aviation, command and staff assignments, he retired on June 1, 1979, with the rank of Rear Admiral.

Roy graduated from Georgetown University Law Center in February 1983. He engaged in general civil practice with the law firm of Bierbower and Bierbower in Washington, D.C. until October 1993 at which time he moved to the Redmon law firm. Mr. Snyder is licensed to practice in Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia.
